#SaveSabrinasMama - Fundraising UGX 25M to cover Medical Expenses

Sabrina Atwiine is a young professional in the space of law but a champion in Uganda for using technology to serve her community and a mentor to so many young people in the technology space and served in so many spaces from debates, public speaking, technology and much more 

A tragedy hit her family a few months ago which has called forth the attention of friends, family, and workmates to support in raising UGX 25M for her medical bills for her mother; Ahimbisibwe Jackline Mutabazi is a mother of three daughters (Sandra, Sabrina and Shallom). In march this year she first experienced joint pains that got worse in just a couple of days and later an overlap of syndrome starting from terrible skin rashes, hair loss, swollen body and general body weakness.

Around June 2023, she was diagnosed with Dermatomysitis, an inflammatory disease marked by muscle weakness. She has not been able to move since then and her condition keeps getting worse. Right now her muscles are hardened, her through has been blocked for two months now, she can't eat or drink, has swollen nerves, and has been referred for Urgent Medical Treatment in Nairobi and its on this basis that we request your help in raising UGX 25 million to cover her medical expenses.
